This question about which marketing strategies work the best for Small Business Owners inspired a passion project that I would like to invite you to be a part of. Here’s how it came about.
Have you heard of Chris Guillebeau? He is a remarkable person, author, and thinker. Check him out here. I interviewed him for my blog where he shared a bunch of tips, watch it here.
When he was in his twenties, Chris set the goal to visit all 193 countries in the world before he turned 35 which would happen on April 7, 2013.
And after eleven years, he did it. Along the way, he has hosted the World Domination Summit and written several books.
In 2014, he wrote the book, The Happiness of Pursuit. In his words, “It’s a playbook for making your life count.”
In this book, he interviewed a bunch of people about their happiness pursuits.
One of the people in the book, a woman who lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA (where I am from), is Sasha Martin.
She decided to cook one recipe a week from every country in the world. Her story inspired me and got me thinking.
I started wondering about what kind of passion project I could pursue that would align my love of: global thinking, connecting people, sharing ideas, small business, and marketing.
The answer came to me almost immediately, to discover the top three marketing strategies for Small Business Owners in every country in the world.
To do this, I am inviting Small Business Owners to complete a survey. I’ll share the results of the survey here periodically to keep you updated.
The name I came up with for my passion project is Marketing Across the World.
The name has a double meaning. First to examine the various forms of marketing which exist all over the world. Second, once you know this, you can market your business from anywhere in the world to anywhere in the world.
