Dear Stephanie,
It is so often that I want to make leaping steps in my life – in all aspects of my life and today your reminder was to walk life step by step and NOT leap otherwise you miss the train. So thank you for your small but very important message of monitoring oneself to see what is gonna get me further & most of all what do I need. I will add that my falling point is that I am too busy thinking about what others need as to what I need. So this was a new & another proverb for me.
Many thanks,
Bronwyn
Thank you for your comment Bronwyn, I’m glad you found a new perspective that supports you. All the best, Stephanie
Hi Stephanie,
This didn’t resonate so much with me professionally as it did personally. Somehow during the holiday season, perhaps because I had time to reflect on the subject, I realized how scattered I was about doing things in my home. Leaving things lying around, reams of paper, just a real cluttered feeling. I’ve now tidied up my home and it’s amazing how much tidier I feel in my head. Things don’t left get undone. When I’ve got something in my hand to put it away, I put it away. I don’t just place it somewhere else to pick up again. Small things but they make a huge difference. TX for sharing this one.
Thank you for sharing your expereience Mary Jane. As with many concepts, this one can be applied both professionally and personally. I agree, small things do make a huge difference. There is so much peace and energy created when clutter is reduced and you’re surrounded by order. All the best.
Excellent point Brian, Mastermind Groups are a fabulous way to stay on track and get great ideas. I’m in a Mastermind Group and I truly value the support, direction, and encouragement it provides. Appreciate the tip about the book as well.
Stephanie and Brian, I like the sound of a Mastermind Group. Is there a particular place to search to find one? I’m based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Thanks.
Simone I would recommend that you start your own group, that way you get to select the other members. With Skype you can have members who are anywhere in the world, and if you want to meet in person I’m sure you could find 3-4 other people in Amsterdam who would love to join your Mastermind. Here is an article with additional options: http://www.smartpassiveincome.com/how-to-find-a-mastermind-group/. Keep me posted, would love to know what you decide.
Thanks Stephanie. Will let you know how I go.
Excellent Simone, looking forward to it.
Hi Stephanie, Went to my first Mastermind meeting this week. Was great. We made our own group from the Amsterdam Business Mamas Facebook group. A good mix of people and a great sounding board. I have set a couple of goals to work on before our next meeting. Number one: time management! One of the steps is to have a look through your resources above.
Fantastic Simone, than you for letting me know. And perfect timing because I just came across another Mastermind resource last week, here is the link: http://liveyourlegend.net/how-to-create-your-ultimate-mastermind-group-workbook/. Time management is a frequent struggle for all of us, good luck with your goals and all the best.
