I agree that reaching out to leads on LI and FB are a great idea. But I urge people to pay special attention to your tip about making each introduction unique. It really peeves me when people say they would like to connect but do not say why, or tell me they know me but do not say from where. I produce web video and applaud you for making use of this medium to promote your message.
